It just looks so nice together and expresses the perfect sentiment.

Foxy Candles - Woodland Cute Little Fox Gift Baskets

I couldn't resist getting these cute little cardboard fox decorated containers when I saw them in a local store in Hilo. Decorated with a woodland theme of foxes, owls, mushrooms and leaves, it was too adorable to pass up.

But what to put in it? Playing around, I found out that four of our soy tealights would fit nicely into this petite gift basket. The perfect match turned out to be orange colored tea light candles scented with the yummy fragrance of pumpkin pie spice.

Summer Loving Natural Soy Candles with Dragonflies and Flowers

Summer is just about here, time to kick back and enjoy the warm sunny weather. Bring some of that warmth indoors with our limited edition soy candles made with pure soy wax hand poured into lovely tinted glass containers.

These pretty glasses have a raised relief design of dragonflies and flowers, and come in lemon yellow, green apple and blood orange colors. After the yummy vanilla fragrance candle has burned down after 30 hours, these containers will make cute little vases for wild flowers, or you can put a round votive or tealight candle in it. Sushi Candle Party Favors for a Japanese Kokeshi Doll Birthday Party

I am curious by nature, so with every order or inquiry about our products, I always ask my customer what are they using our product for. In this case, she ordered our handmade sushi soy tealight candles to give as favors to the adults at her kokeshi doll themed birthday party for her daughter.

I thought that was a fabulous idea, and with a quick search, found this great blog post with supply list, directions and lots of lovely photos (a little example above) at Kara's Party Ideas.

For people that may not know, kokeshi dolls are Japanese folk art wooden dolls. The vintage ones have simple wooden trunk bodies with large wooden spherical heads, and are hand painted with a few minimal brush strokes to denote the face, and painted "kimono" designs to clothe the trunk body. The modern ones are a lot more colorful and fancy. (Confession, I have a collection of both kinds.)

To make our unique handmade sushi candle favors, we start by pouring white soy wax into heat resistant plastic tealight holders. After the tea lights have cooled, we carefully wrap black satin ribbon around the container to represent nori seaweed. We then attach green, orange, and pink beeswax circles around the wick to represent the sushi fillings.

Having gone to art school, it seems that I have always known about Pantone, but for people who don't know what it is, here it is in a nutshell. Pantone was the first company to create a system for people in the graphic arts industry to accurately reproduce color in print media. Since then, it has expanded its color matching system concept to a variety of industries worldwide.
